Do not use the number buttons on your dashboard. Use the Preset buttons (1,2,3,4) on the radio face. For example, to enter code 2-5-1-8: Press Preset 1 repeatedly until "2" shows, Preset 2 until "5" shows, etc. Then press the "Source" or "Play" button to confirm.
