Filmyzilla operates by trapping users who want instant gratification. But Zombeavers is a slow-burn cult classic (well, fast-burn—it's only 77 minutes). It is worth the small fee or the 90-second ad roll.
Zombeavers was made for approximately $1 million. That’s pocket change for Marvel but a fortune for director Jordan Rubin and the production company, Armory Films. When you pirate indie films, you directly harm the people who took a risk on a weird, fun idea. Piracy makes it harder for filmmakers to get funding for their next "so bad it’s good" masterpiece.
